At SSI SCHAEFER we are looking for a proactive, independent Health & Safety Specialist who takes workplace safety and compliance to the next level!
Your main tasks are:
Location: This is a hybrid role where you are regularly present at the locations in the Netherlands and Belgium. Your local manager is the HR Manager who works in Oosterhout (Gelderland). In addition, you have regular contact (mainly online) with the person responsible for HSE of Northern Europe who works in England.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and EU health, safety, quality and environmental legislation
- Keep administration up-to-date and accessible
- Communicate, consult and advise at all levels within the company, from employees to senior management
- Ensuring that colleagues have sufficient knowledge and tools in the field of HSE
- Carry out risk assessments and safety inspections and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions (working with local supervisors)
- Develop and provide training and education to improve HSE knowledge within our organization.

- You are able to convince and train others in your field
- In addition, you have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in Dutch and English.
