Picnic is hiring an HR Business Partner to support and empower a diverse team at one of our Fulfillment Centers, home to 500 employees. In this dynamic role, you'll drive smooth HR operations, tackle complex challenges, and foster a thriving workplace culture, contributing to Picnic's fast-paced growth.As part of a young, ambitious HR team, you'll collaborate with Operations, Recruitment, and Learning & Development to align strategic goals and enhance employee well-being. Your daily work will involve partnering with team leaders and management on topics like employee engagement, compliance, case management, and sensitive issues. Join us in making a meaningful impact on our workforce while advancing Picnic's mission to innovate supply chain and grocery delivery.
Tricks of the trade- Advice and Coaching: Act as a sparring partner for managers, providing solutions for complex cases. Support team leaders with limited HR experience by helping them prepare for and conduct conversations.
- Autonomy: At Picnic, you'll have the freedom to initiate projects and leverage your creativity.
- Broad Impact: Contribute to strategic improvements in HR processes, making a difference every day.
- Diverse Cases: Handle a wide range of cases, from long-term absenteeism to zero-tolerance issues, ensuring your work remains dynamic and challenging.
- Projects: Take on local projects to improve HR practices, such as boosting employee retention.
- Leadership: Lead the HR Admin team at your Fulfillment Center, which consists of around four team members.
- Collaboration with HR Colleagues: Visit the Amsterdam headquarters weekly to collaborate and brainstorm with other HR Business Partners from different Fulfillment Centers.
- Administration: Take on a variety of tasks, from conducting conversations and responding to online queries to drafting letters and making updates in HR systems like Workday. Every day is different, keeping the work engaging and rewarding.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Human Resource Management
- At least 4 years of HR experience
- Available at least 4 days per week
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
- An enthusiastic HR professional with a passion for making an impact
- Strong coaching skills and a willingness to help others grow
- Excellent multitasking abilities and flexibility
- Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
- Creative, proactive, and independent
- Approachable and naturally skilled at giving and receiving feedback
- A master at staying organized and quickly identifying practical solutions
