Functieomschrijving
As a Finishing Operator, you will independently operate conventional, CNC, and NC machines, ensuring the quality and precision of machined parts. By performing measurements and making necessary adjustments, you guarantee that all components meet the required specifications. Additionally, you contribute to continuous improvements and help achieve World Class Manufacturing standards. When necessary, you also support other departments to ensure a smooth production process. Your responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining conventional, NC, and CNC machines;
- Machining wear parts with high precision according to technical drawings;
- Inspecting components for quality using various measuring tools;
- Ensuring a safe and organized workplace while adhering to safety regulations and the 5S methodology;
- Accurately following company procedures, instructions, and policies;
- Applying the APS system (Lean/Six Sigma) to improve productivity and efficiency.
Functie-eisen
- Experience operating machines in a technical production environment;
- A Level 2 vocational diploma (MBO), preferably in a (metal) technical field;
- Willingness to undergo additional training if necessary;
- Availability to work in a 3-shift system, with flexibility for extra hours if needed;
- Ability to read technical drawings and work independently with high accuracy;
- Experience with Lean or World Class Manufacturing principles to optimize production processes.
