We are looking for a Temporary Director of the Product Data Integrity Framework and Intelligence to join a global fashion brand. In this pivotal leadership position, you will take charge of designing and executing a robust product data integrity framework that emphasizes traceability, compliance, and packaging. Your strategic insights will convert intricate regulatory demands into a clear, actionable plan that aligns seamlessly with our business objectives.


You'll oversee a dedicated team, providing them with essential intelligence to facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role presents a chance to build a versatile data framework that not only addresses current requirements but also evolves with future developments.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Lead global efforts to establish a unified data platform tailored for Traceability and Sustainability alongside the Data and Engineering teams;
  • Implement the defined KPI framework by creating reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs effectively;
  • Streamline customer reporting by consolidating data-sharing practices and establishing a data governance board for a single source of truth;
  • Oversee the integration of new legal attributes based on data assessments driven by legislation, customer demands, and sustainability criteria;
  • Manage the process of delivering data to key customers monthly to ensure compliance and transparency;
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing and missing data flows in packaging to enhance data management and meet sustainability targets;
  • Build and guide a team of data governance and reporting specialists, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous professional growth;
  • Foster an environment focused on strategic objectives related to product data integrity and high performance;
  • Establish streamlined procedures for data governance to ensure consistency in customer reporting.

Your salary will depend on your current knowledge and experience. Furthermore, it is a full-time position for 6 months.

Functie eisen

* Proven experience in data governance and business intelligence on a global scale, with a preference for candidates from the fashion or retail sector;
* 10+ years in a senior role focused on strategic data initiatives and leadership in multinational organizations;
* Ability to cultivate and lead teams committed to data excellence and integrity;
* Strong expertise in communicating intricate data concepts clearly to diverse audiences, enabling informed strategic decisions;
* Collaborative mindset with experience in aligning cross-functional teams around data standards and best practices;
* A forward-thinking approach with awareness of emerging trends in data governance and technologies, such as AI;
* Educational background in Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's degree);
* Proficient in tools and technologies like Azure Data Bricks and Power BI, alongside a solid understanding of process and data analysis.
