FunctieThe Design Engineer is responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions for defense-related products. The focus is on creating components that meet the highest standards for quality, performance, and durability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage technical solutions and compliance documentation according to customer, regulatory, and airworthiness requirements.
- Analyze and resolve technical issues within program, time, and production constraints.
- Execute method plans and apply appropriate design approaches.
- Prepare technical solutions as input for quotations and customer proposals.
- Identify and assess technical risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Support or create test specifications and alternative means of compliance (analysis/similarity) to demonstrate that the design meets certification requirements.
- Develop cost-effective and manufacturable designs using DFMA principles.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with composite structures design is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in engineering project teams.
- Proven experience with CATIA software.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to a diverse audience.
- Strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.
