For a big IT service provider in Amsterdam, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer.
As a Data Engineer, you will work to create and maintain the data pipelines that power the company's DEX platform, ensuring efficient and accurate data integration and delivery. You'll collaborate with a team of skilled professionals with a shared passion for innovation and excellence, working to solve complex problems and shape the future of data utilization.
This is a temporary assignment that will start in September 2024 and last until the end of 2024.
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and secure data solutions that facilitate seamless data exchange within the Data Spaces Ecosystem.
- Work with a dynamic team using agile methodologies to deliver value at scale with tomorrow's technologies.
- Collaborate closely with IT and business innovation departments to ensure the effective integration of Data Space components into the Data Services Hub platform.
- Engage in continuous communication with stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
A great fulltime (37 hours) assignment in Amsterdam, from September 2024 until December 2024. Hybrid working is possible. The hourly rate for this assignment is 80-90 eur per hour (dependens on your experience and seniority). Please apply with your availability date and your hourly rate. There's also the possibility of a flex contract via us, in which case an attractive salary applies.

Functie eisen
* Advanced software engineering skills and knowledge of distributed computing and event-driven processes.* Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Scala, Rust or others).
* Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Mesos, Kubernetes).
* Experience working with Kafka.
* Expertise in microservices development.
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure, Maven).
* Proficiency in Linux and basic scripting (Bash, Python).
* A defensive programming mindset to ensure the highest levels of security and reliability.
