Your responsibilities include:
- Managing customs compliance requests and internal control processes.
- Advising customers and colleagues on import/export regulations and restrictions.
- Ensuring full compliance with customs regulations, internal policies, and customer requirements.
- Reviewing and approving commercial invoices and shipping documents in case of uncertainties.
- Maintaining and developing the safety and compliance workbook.
- Leading the implementation of customs and compliance improvements, including new licenses, procedures, fiscal representation, and clearance types.
- Monitoring and tracking daily operational metrics.
- Identifying issues, addressing them with urgency, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Providing regular status updates to management.
- Identifying process gaps and recommending improvements for enhanced efficiency.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including customer service, operations, warehouse teams, customs authorities, and other regulatory bodies.

You are possesses a proactive mindset with knowledge in customs regulations and compliance procedures. You are working collaboratively with multiple teams and external regulators, ensuring seamless compliance and operational efficiency.What we are looking for:
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and compliance procedures.
- Experience in managing customs-related processes and documentation.
- Fluent in Dutch and English and strong communication skills in a collaborative environment.
- Strong excel skills.
