FunctieAs a Customer Quality Engineer, you are the key player in resolving quality issues and complaints that arise with external customers. You ensure these complaints are resolved quickly, structurally, and permanently. Your results-oriented approach ensures that customers trust the quality of our products and services.
In this role, you will work closely with a team of about 25 colleagues, including Quality Engineers and Production Process Engineers. You will report directly to the Team Leader of Customer Quality.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Handling customer complaints and escalations.
- Developing quality improvement plans for your customers.
- Monitoring and reporting on KPIs.
- Initiating and participating in improvement activities.
- Supporting customer audits and following up on the results.
As a Customer Quality Engineer, you are customer-oriented and ask critical questions to get to the core of a problem. You know how to communicate tactfully with both the internal organization and the customer, and you build strong relationships. You are persuasive, results-driven, and work proactively on improvements.
Additionally, you have:
- A completed HBO or WO education in a technical field.
- Familiarity with the requirements of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949, and experience with methodologies such as PPAP, FMEA, and 8D.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as a Quality Engineer.
- Experience in the automotive, semiconductor, or medical industries is a plus.
- Good command of both Dutch and English; German is a plus.
