We are looking for a new Analyst to join our corporate finance team in Amsterdam.

Tasks
  • Actively identifying and assessing potential target investment companies;
  • Conduct thorough research on selected target companies, including financial (modelling), strategic, and competitor analysis;
  • Analysis, preparation and drafting presentations of company profiles, market and sector reports, information memorandums and transaction documentation;
  • Collaborate with senior team members in marketing and origination activities;
  • Assist in preparing historical and projected financial statements;
  • Analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions and
  • Conduct valuation analysis
Requirements
  • An effective team player and highly motivated self-starter with strong communication skills, tenacity and market research skills;
  • Excellent Dutch & English language skills (written & spoken);
  • Outstanding interpersonal, presentational, adaptability and time management skills;
  • Strong academics, with a completed university degree in fields such as Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business or a science study with financial affinity;
  • Previous experience with exposure to transactions from within Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Consulting or Private Equity. Operational/in-house experience will also be considered;
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting;
  • Highly proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills
