The Content Specialist in IGTS business unit/Downstream Marketing team is responsible for managing, organizing, and optimizing marketing content across multiple Content Management Systems (CMS), including Philips asset library, webCMS, and Philips product libraries. This role involves executing operational content tasks while ensuring digital and content excellence best practices, such as keyword optimization, content structuring, and continuous improvement, are applied.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Management & Execution
- Upload, update, and maintain digital assets (imagery, brochures, videos etc), web pages, and product-related content in various CMS platforms.
- Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand and SEO guidelines.
- Manage metadata, tagging, and categorization for better discoverability.
- Content Optimization & Best Practices
- Apply SEO best practices, including keyword optimization, alt text, and metadata improvement.
- Improve content performance by ensuring clarity, usability, and alignment with internal stakeholders and insights from data dashboards.
- Conduct audits to identify outdated, duplicate, or underperforming content.
- Content Restructuring & Process Improvement
- Support content restructuring projects by efficiently migrating, reorganizing, deleting and updating content.
- Ensure correct content mapping and internal linking during structural changes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements in workflows and CMS usability.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with digital content, has a strong operational mindset, and can contribute to both execution and content performance improvement efforts.
- Junior to Medior role, around 3 years of experience.
- Technical & CMS Expertise: Strong experience working with asset libraries, webCMS, and product portfolio management tools.
- Operational Execution: Detail-oriented, process-driven, and efficient in handling content updates at scale.
- Digital Knowledge: Understanding of SEO, tagging, content structuring, and performance optimization.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies, ensure content accuracy, and maintain quality standards.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Capable of working through content restructuring challenges and implementing process improvements.
Arbeidsvoorwaarden
- Period: 1st March - 19th December 2025
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Grade: Philips CAO - grade 50 (€3.643 - € 4.112 per month - 40 hours per week - plus 13th month)
- Location: Best (Hybrid way of working: Min of 3 days at the office.
