De Plesman, in March 2025, this new hotel and restaurant concept will open in Scheveningen, The Hague. Housed in this iconic building where dunes, forest, city, and beach converge, it features 100 hotel rooms, a lobby/bar, the restaurant Suus, and a deli. Independent Recruiters has been exclusively appointed to handle the recruitment for the restaurant team. Therefore, we are looking for a Conference & Events Server!
In this position you will focus on:
- Welcoming and helping guests in all of our venues. Ensure you are following service standards and operating procedures from the beginning to the end of each order and interaction;
- Set tables according to type of event and service standards, including types of linens, glassware, plate/chinaware, and silver/flatware, ensuring all supplies meet quality standards;
- Ensure proper knowledge and usage of the audio visual system;
- Ensure you have thorough understanding of the Banqueting Sheets. Communicate any changes if necessary.

- A one-year contract with the intention to extend;
- Regular team activities, from bike rides through The Hague to Thursday drinks;

What do you bring?* You have 0 - 1 years of experience in a similar role. You'll be on top of our list if you gained this experience at a 4/5-star hotel;
* Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays;
* You speak English fluently;
* You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague
