For over 30 years, this company has been active in the metal packaging market. During these years, the company has grown into a leading manufacturer in the beverage packaging industry. Through ongoing investments and the installation of technologically advanced equipment, the capacity and range of packaging and services have significantly increased. The offerings include not only beverage packaging but also a wide range of welded steel cans for the food industry, aerosols, bottle closures, packaging for the chemical and cosmetic industries, and glass and plastic packaging. The factories run operations in 19 countries on 29 production sites and employ nearly 8,000 people globally. All factories together produce approximately 25 billion beverage cans, around 28 billion bottle closures, about 1 billion metal containers for the food and chemical industries, and approximately 700 tons of glass packaging per year.

Functieomschrijving

In this role you will support the commercial department by performing a variety of commercial and administrative tasks. You will be answering (telephone) enquiries from (international) clients, possible clients and colleagues and ensure proper follow-up of various incoming issues. Other responsibilities are:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects;
  • Handle client inquiries and manage discussions on contracts, samples, projects and invoicing;
  • Process data in ERP and other systems;
  • Assist in preparing and following up on quotations and tenders;
  • Collaborate on market research with the headquarters team;
  • Organize customer meetings and create presentations;
  • Provide support for the supervisor and team members as needed.

Functie-eisen
  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO) or equivalent education;
  • Proven work experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong administrative skills and the ability to work independently;
  • You excel at managing administration and processes with accuracy and efficiency;
  • Strong ability to convince customers and build lasting, growth-oriented relationships;
  • Skilled in filtering and prioritizing incoming communication for optimal workflow;
  • Affinity with automation; familiarity with MS Office, SAP, and Excel;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills: very good command of English (B2 level); knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
