CMO at BOAS in Amsterdam (full-time)

Do you want to work a lot for a little? Do you want to save jeans and lives? For our online vintage fashion platform with 2 stores in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer.

BOAS is the fast vintage fashion platform that saves jeans from being burnt and donates 90% of profits to save lives. You run all online and offline marketing efforts for BOAS, doing whatever it takes to get more sales online and offline. You define the tasks and steps to get there yourself!

You work full-time or more on-site in Amsterdam. Your pay will be deferred until we close our next funding round (we raised €400K already), and you will be compensated with equity and performance pay.

What will you do?

• You run all online and offline marketing efforts for BOAS, doing whatever it takes to get more sales online and offline
• You are good with social media, you know all the accounts and you know how to setup (paid) marketing campaigns on Instagram, TikTok, Google (maps), Shopping etc.
• You constantly advocate for BOAS and our mission to save jeans and lives
• You share your observations and feedback with the operations and tech team, so we can continuously improve our services
• If the business requires you to do something else than marketing, you are willing to do something else to make BOAS succeed (e.g. we open a new store and everyone does whatever it takes to open it). If you're the type of person that says 'that's not my job' you're not the person for this role
• You will have huge targets (we want to try and grow roughly 1.000% in 2025), and a low budget to hit those targets, if you think that's unfair or unrealistic you're not the type for this role. BOAS grows well over 2.000% this year and 1.000% next year can be done
• We expect good results very soon after you start and great results soon thereafter. The top applicant will trial for one month and if we don't have good results in 30 days we will not continue with you. If you think that's unfair or unrealistic you're not the type If that sounds intense that's exactly what it is. We have huge plans and we're on a mission to save jeans and lives, so don't apply if you're not willing to do what it takes for our mission.

• You get things done regardless of the budget or timeline
• You're not an asshole
• You live in or near Amsterdam, work can be hybrid but we need you in Amsterdam at least once a week
• You speak English very well and preferably you also speak Dutch
• You will probably work more than 40 hours a week and at this stage of the company you are available when you are awake to urgent requests (feel free to ignore non-urgent stuff on nights and weekends)
• This is a startup that you will lead through scaleup, so you will probably be paid below your market rate and in the beginning you're paid post performance. You will be compensated with equity and you can be paid based on your performance
• You can start full-time the first of january 2025 latest
