March 2025: De Plesman will open its doors in Scheveningen, The Hague. This brand-new hotel and restaurant concept is located in an iconic building where dunes, forest, city, and beach come together. With 100 hotel rooms, a Lobby/bar, Restaurant Suus, and a deli, this destination is set to become a culinary and hospitality hotspot.

What's different? They're bold and looking for someone to help evolve hospitality alongside them. The team is at the heart of the hotel, bringing unique perspectives that make it a truly special place. They want you to help ensure every guest leaves with a bright smile!

Independent Hospitality has been exclusively appointed to recruit the team of Restaurant Suus. We are currently looking for a Chef de Partie to join this exciting venture!

What will you be doing?

  • Preparing dishes for the restaurant and meetings & events;
  • Performing preparatory tasks for all dishes;
  • Contributing to the innovation of dishes and menus with proactive ideas;
  • Assessing the quality and shelf life of ingredients and ensuring the quality of outgoing dishes;
  • Receiving, inspecting, and storing ordered food supplies;
  • Keeping the work area clean;
