The Business control function is fairly new for Just Brands creating an unique opportunity to step into a role in which nothing is set in stone. You are comfortable you can make a significant contribution to setup the Business Control function, then we’re looking for you!

As our Business Controller, you play a vital role in our finance department, mostly with a focus on looking to the future ahead of us, unlocking our potential which we outlined in our strategy.

THE TEAM
The Business Controller role falls within the Finance department, reporting into the Business Control manager. You will work closely with your fellow Finance colleague, Business Support and your Commercial and Business contacts acting as a spider in the web connecting all the dots.

As our Business Controller, you play a vital role in our finance department, mostly with a focus on looking to the future ahead of us, unlocking our potential which we outlined in our strategy.
JUST THE JOB
- You will support in the development and execution of planning processes from budgeting, to rolling forecasting to mid term (strategic) planning.
- You will take the lead in consolidating the planning outcomes of the various planning processes, hence your excel skills will be tested to the max and you should be able to perform at your best in peak times.
- You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining financial planning tools and support in ensuring consistency in reporting and processes across various channels and countries.
- Next to this business partnering will play a big role with our various matrix focus areas being channels (wholesale, retail, ecommerce), countries and functions (e.g. Product, Marketing) supporting in Business Case development (e.g. starting a new business model)
- The Business Controller will also assist in monitoring financial performance across the business, helping to foster an accountability-driven culture.
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses to highlight key financial insights, trends, and risks to assist in decision-making.
- Assist in preparing financial presentations and reports for senior management, providing clear insights on budget performance, variances, and trends.
- Expert in systems advanced excel, power BI, optional exposure to Navision, Business Central, Qliksense is a bonus
- JustBrands is becoming more international, therefore fluency in English is preferred for a candidate who is curious and has a can do mentality.
