Job Description

Are you someone who gets excited about developing innovative products and enjoys contributing to improving consumers' financial well-being? Do you have strong analytical skills and a passion for product development? Then we at Pricewise are looking for you! We are seeking a driven Business Analyst/Product Owner to help us develop new products and optimize our existing ones. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our mission: helping consumers gain better insight into their personal finances and find the best deals.

What will you do?

As a Business Analyst/Product Owner at Pricewise, you play a central role in translating customer needs into tangible product solutions. You act as the bridge between the business requirements and the technical implementation by our development teams. You will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure that the products we develop are not only innovative but also truly contribute to our vision of helping consumers take better control of their spending.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Gathering, analyzing, and translating customer needs and market trends.
• Developing clear and detailed product requirements and user stories.
• Prioritizing the product backlog and aligning the roadmap with broader business objectives.
• Collaborating with teams such as marketing, sales, and development to ensure that products meet Pricewise's high standards.
• Guiding the development process from concept to implementation and monitoring progress.
• Conducting tests and collecting feedback to continuously improve products.

Requirements

For this challenging role, we are looking for someone who is both analytically and communicatively strong, with the ability to quickly switch between various stakeholders and priorities. Ideally, you have a background in both business and technology, with the experience to translate complex issues into practical solutions clearly.

We are looking for a candidate with:

• A completed higher professional education (HBO) or university degree (WO) in a relevant field such as Information Science, Business Administration, or Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or a combination of both is preferred.
• Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence. You have experience working in an Agile/scrum environment and understand how to communicate efficiently with technical teams.
• Strong communication skills: You can communicate clearly with stakeholders at various levels both inside and outside the organization, from technicians to business partners.
• A proactive attitude: You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate within the product portfolio.
• A Business Analyst/Product Owner with experience in software (web) business and products.
