In March 2025, De Plesman will open its doors in Scheveningen, The Hague. This brand-new hotel and restaurant concept is located in an iconic building where dunes, forest, city, and beach come together. With 100 hotel rooms, a Lobby/bar, Restaurant Suus, and a deli, this destination is set to become a culinary and hospitality hotspot.
Independent Hospitality has been exclusively appointed to recruit the restaurant team, and we are currently looking for a Breakfast Chef to join this exciting venture.
As a Breakfast Chef, you will be the star of the morning shift, ensuring guests start their day with a delicious and memorable breakfast experience. Your focus will be on preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency, and creating a welcoming morning ambiance.
As a Breakfast Chef you are responsible for:
- Preparing and presenting a variety of breakfast items, from classic favorites to innovative dishes;
- Ensuring mise-en-place is ready for a seamless breakfast service;
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen;
- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins;
- Managing inventory and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and available.

Functie eisen
What do you bring?* Previous experience in breakfast service or as a chef in a similar role;
* A love for early mornings and creating the perfect start to the day for guests;
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
* A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills;
* Flexibility to work in the early hours (starting at 6 or 7 AM) and on weekends.
