About the position

Bizbaz is currently seeking a highly-motivated and highly results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Dhaka, Bangladesh. You will be mainly responsible for driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, and building strong relationships with Bizbaz's clients. How will you do this? You will: 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate revenue and expand Bizbaz's client base.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers through both in-person and virtual meetings and correspondences. 
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes and potential areas for growth within the region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic business development initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Monitor and track sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and updates to management.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of solid experience in business development or sales roles, with a proven track record.
  • Experience in Fintech, HR consulting or SaaS companies in a business development capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to easily build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and quickly develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for exceeding targets and driving business growth.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Fluent in English and Bengali, both written and spoken.

What This Role Offers

  • Potential compensation offer is USD500-USD800/month (this can go higher depending on background and experience) plus sales commissions.

  • Remote office with occasional in-country travel and regular on-site visits to prospective customers.
