In March 2025, De Plesman will open its doors in Scheveningen, The Hague. This brand-new hotel and restaurant concept is located in an iconic building where dunes, forest, city, and beach come together. With 100 hotel rooms, a Lobby/bar, Restaurant Suus, and a deli, this destination is set to become a culinary and hospitality hotspot.
Independent Hospitality has been exclusively appointed to recruit the restaurant team, and we are currently looking for a Commis Chef to join this exciting venture.
As a Barista at De Plesman, you will be the face of our coffee experience, creating exceptional beverages and ensuring every guest enjoys a warm and inviting atmosphere. Your passion for coffee and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering high-quality service.
As a Barista you are responsible for:
- Preparing and serving a wide variety of coffee, tea, cocktails and other beverages to perfection;
- Engaging with guests to provide personalized recommendations and excellent service;
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the barista station and equipment;
- Managing stock levels for coffee, tea, and related supplies;
- Staying updated on coffee trends and contributing ideas for new beverage offerings.
What can you expect?
- A one-year contract with the intention of extension;
- Regular team activities, ranging from bike rides through The Hague to Thursday drinks;
- Opportunities for personal development;
- Discounts on hotel stays and F&B.
