In order to cover the maternity leave of a colleague, we are seeking a fashion/textile professional who will be joining the Outlet Product Development team at a large international retailer. this team leads the buying and merchandising process and ensures an efficient communication from headquarters to the countries.

On the Product Development team, you will assist in the sourcing, development, and production of all the outlet collections. This role is for a period of 9 months and will be located in Amsterdam. If you are interested in learning more, then please apply!

Your duties for this role include:

  • Managing system input and sample handling as the gatekeeper;
  • Ensuring alignment between Product Management Software and Collection Line list of the organization;
  • Maintaining the Bill of Materials for all styles under your responsibility;
  • Keeping a record of samples received and monitoring late deliveries;
  • Communicating with vendors and buying offices regarding product-related matters.

Functie eisen

For this role we are looking for:

* Experience (or education) in the processes/systems of garment production;
* Higher textile education (AMFI, De Maere, TMO, MTS Mode & Clothing or similar);
* Working experience in apparel development/sourcing/production;
* Strong communication skills;
* Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe;
* Fluent in English.
