Assembly worker (English)

As an assembly worker you have good motor skills! You can concentrate well, of course, with that precise work! It would be nice if you:

• Are you available 40 hours a week
• Can read and understand the English language
• You are living in the Netherlands

At Fokker Elmo in Papendrecht you will work as an assembly worker. You and your team work on cabling for the aircraft industry. The wiring harnesses consist of different types of cables and connectors. Yellow cables, green cables, you name it! And you will combine all this very precisely into one large wiring harness. You do this on the basis of English work instructions and regulations on an iPad. So it's kind of a construction kit!

Back to the year 1910. In this year Anthony Fokker built his very first airplane: De Spin. This was also the very first aircraft built in the Netherlands and flown here. That's cool, isn't it?! Now we don't expect you to build and design a whole new plane like Anthony, only wiring harnesses ;). The wiring harnesses you and colleagues will make are for the Joint Strike Fighter. How cool!
