March 2025: De Plesman will open its doors in Scheveningen, The Hague. This brand-new hotel and restaurant concept is located in an iconic building where dunes, forest, city, and beach come together. With 100 hotel rooms, a Lobby/bar, Restaurant Suus, and a deli, this destination is set to become a culinary and hospitality hotspot.
What's different? They're bold and looking for someone to help evolve hospitality alongside them. The team is at the heart of the hotel, bringing unique perspectives that make it a truly special place. They want you to help ensure every guest leaves with a bright smile!
Independent Hospitality has been exclusively appointed to recruit the team of Restaurant Suus. We are looking for an enthusiastic and Allround Restaurant Employee who can excel as a runner, server, or host, ensuring our guests have everything they need. Are you ready to be part of this exciting journey?
What will you be doing?
- Welcome each guest with a warm smile, ensuring their experience starts on a high note;
- Manage reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and guide guests to their tables with finesse;
- Keep the flow of the dining area smooth, managing wait times and providing updates to guests as a Host/Hostess;
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service;
- Maintain a clean and organized host station.

Functie eisen
What will you bring to the table?* Experience in a similar host or guest-facing role is preferred but not required;
* A naturally friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality;
* The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure;
* Strong communication skills, with fluency in English; additional languages like Dutch are a plus;
* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays;
* You preferably live in the vicinity of The Hague.
