For our client in Utrecht, we are looking for an Accounting Professional.

The client is a leading company in the field of business financing, active in Northwest Europe. As part of a well-known bank, they have emerged from the merger of various entities and aim to build a future-proof financial department.

This is what you will do:
As an Accounting Professional, you are an important link in the daily financial process.
  • Financial accounting;
  • Reconciliations and analyses;
  • Periodic closures and reporting;
  • Collaborating with other departments to improve processes;
  • Ensuring timely and accurate information provision;
  • Contribution to maintaining a strong internal control environment;
  • Participating in meeting projects within the financial department.

This is you:
  • Master's degree in Accounting & Control, Economics, and/or Business Administration (or international equivalent);
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in a financial/accounting role;
  • Experience with relevant ledger systems (preferably SAP) is a plus;
  • Strong analytical skills and a helicopter view;
  • Knowledge of internal control guidelines and IFRS standards is an advantage;
  • Fluent in English, Dutch/French/German is a plus.
