We are seeking an accounting professional to join the expanding financial team of a dynamic hospitality organization. Based in the heart of Amsterdam, this role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of daily financial processes.

As an Accountant you will contribute to a range of accounting activities, including:
- Assist with local tax and VAT compliance for relevant regions (UK, DE, IT, FR);
- Support month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany allocations;
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements;
- Contribute to the preparation of the company's annual budget and periodic forecasts;
- Assist in the analysis of financial data, identifying trends, and supporting management decisions;
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring proper classification of transactions;
- Prepare and process monthly journal entries, including those related to billing, payroll, bank entries, staff expenses, and accruals;
- Support efforts to automate routine accounting processes and improve reporting efficiencies;
- Provide assistance during ERP system migration and upgrades.
Salary will depend on your experience but will be between 60k and 65k gross per year including holiday allowance based on 40 hours. Other benefits include: Performance bonus, hybrid working, travel allowance, 25 holidays, pension contribution is fully paid by the organization.

Functie eisen
In order to succeed in this role, we ask that you have:* 3+ years experience in Accounting or similar function;
* Relevant experience in a HQ office, managing multiple international entities;
* Strong skillset in Excel and ERP systems, preferably with system migrations;
* Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or similar;
* Fluent in English required, Dutch, German, or French would be considered a plus.
